Cape Cod Pasta Strudel (Lasagna)

  1. Peel sausage and cut up into large saucepan.
  2. Brown sausage and beef together; add onion and garlic.
  3. Stir until well browned. Add sugar, salt, basil, fennel seed, pepper and half of parsley. Mix and add tomatoes, tomato paste (mash up) and 1/2 cup water. Bring to boil and simmer for 1 1/2 hours, stirring a bit.
