Apple Blondies

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Grease and lightly flour 9 x 13-inch pan.
  3. Combine butter and sugar in large bowl of electric mixer. Beat on low speed until well combined, about 2 minutes.
  4. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until very creamy.
  5. Stir in vanilla.
  6. Sift flour, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg together onto a sheet of waxed paper.
  7. Sift again.
  8. Add flour mixture into butter mixture. Combine on low speed.
  9. Core apples; don't peel.
  10. Coarsely chop. Fold apples into batter with walnuts and chocolate chips.
  11. Put into pan.
  12. Bake 30 minutes.
  13. Cool and cut.
