Smokin' Hot Taylor Ham, Egg And Cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
- 2 pieces Taylor pork roll (or Canadian bacon)
- 2 large eggs
- 2 pieces Cheddar cheese
- 1 fresh Kaiser bun
- salt and pepper
- In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt 1-tablespoon butter. Place both slices of Taylor pork roll side-by-side in the skillet. Cook until edges are brown, 2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside. Melt remaining tablespoon of butter in the same pan and gently add the eggs so they are side by side. Cook 2 minutes until eggs are set, then flip and cook 1 more minute (be careful not to break the yolks).
- While the Taylor Pork roll and eggs are cooking lightly toast the bun. Place cheese on the bottom toasted bun. Then, layer 1 slice of pork roll followed by both eggs (at this point you can add salt and pepper), then the other slice of pork roll. Put the bun on top and dig in with two napkins.
