Cajun Roasted Turnip Wedges With Light Spicy Mayo
- Spicy Mayo
- 1/4 cup reduced-fat mayonaise
- 1 tablespoon hot chili sauce
- Turnip Fries
- 3 turnips peeled & scrubbed; cut into steak fry wedges
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 tablespoon cajun seasoning or rub
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Line a large sprayed cookie sheet with tin foil.
- Place turnips in a large resealable bag with oil and shake around.
- Add in seasoning and shake well.
- Lay wedges on your baking sheet and cool for 30-35 minutes or until tender on the inside and crispy-brown on the outside.
- Turn turnips over half-way through cooking time.
- Now in a small bowl stir together the chili sauce and mayonnaise until thoroughly combined.
- Once turnips are finished fan them around your spicy sauce and serve.
