Oven Fried Chicken
- 3 lb. chicken (8 pieces skinned)
- 1/2 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 Tbsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 Tbsp. oregano
- 1/4 Tbsp. paprika
- 1/4 Tbsp. red pepper
- 1/4 Tbsp. black pepper
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 c. corn meal
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 2 Tbsp. mustard
- 1/4 c. white wine
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- In a small bowl, add all seasonings. Reserve 1/2 tablespoon of seasonings.
- Sprinkle majority of seasonings on chicken.
- Add the 1/2 tablespoon of seasonings to flour and corn meal.
- In a mixing bowl, beat milk, mustard and white wine.
- Dip the chicken in this mixture, then dredge in flour and corn meal.
- Spray pan with vegetable spray, then spray chicken.
- Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown.
