Famous Wesson Oil Fruit Cake

  1. Heat oven to 275u0b0.
  2. Line pans with lightly greased brown paper.
  3. Combine oil, sugar and eggs.
  4. Beat 2 minutes in large bowl.
  5. Combine 1 cup of flour with nuts and fruits.
  6. Sift remaining flour with baking powder, salt and spices.
  7. Stir into Wesson oil mixture alternately with orange juice.
  8. Pour batter over fruit mixture; blend well.
  9. Turn into prepared pans.
  10. Place a pan of water on lower oven rack.
  11. Bake cake 2 1/2 to 3 hours or until done.
  12. Cool on wire racks.
  13. Remove from pans; peel off paper.
