Cooking Red Beans Supreme And Rice With The Rice Family

  1. Wash pork chops and dry with a paper towel.
  2. Season both sides to taste with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper.
  3. Place chops in a bag with flour and shake until chops are covered.
  4. Remove excess flour from chops.
  5. Add 1 cup of oil, depending on size of frying pan.
  6. Heat on medium.
  7. Place chops in frying pan; fry until golden brown on both sides.
  8. Remove chops and place on paper towels to drain.
  9. At this point, remove oil and make gravy or you can cheat, remove oil and add Pepperidge Farm brown gravy to frying pan.
  10. Add chops and let simmer 15 to 30 minutes, depending on thickness of the chops.
  11. Note:
  12. Gravy should cover chops.
