Whole Wheat Banana Nut Bread

  1. Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating well.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Combine flour, baking powder, soda and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
  4. Stir in banana and pecans.
  5. Spoon batter into a greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
  6. Bake at 350u0b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until a wooden pick comes out clean.
  7. Cool in pan 5 minutes. Remove to a wire rack and cool completely.
