  11. Reduce heat;
  12. simmer while preparing dough for dumplings.
  13. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto simmering stew.
  14. Cook uncovered 10 minutes; cover and cook 10 minutes longer.
  15. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
