Spicy Banana Pecan Cake

  1. In a large bowl, cream together sugar, oleo and oil until light and fluffy.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one.
  3. Stir together flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and cloves. Combine banana and milk; add to cream mixture alternately with flour mixture, beating until smooth after each addition.
  4. Stir in nuts and raisins.
  5. Turn batter into greased and floured tube pan. Bake in a 325u0b0 oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until cake tests done.
  6. Cool in pan for 10 minutes.
  7. Invert on wire rack and cool. Dust with powdered sugar, if desired.
