Beef And Potato Nacho Casserole
- 2 lb. lean ground beef
- 3/4 c. chopped onion, divided
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 can tomato sauce (8 oz.)
- 1 can chopped green chillies (4 oz.)
- 1 can red kidney beans (16 oz.), drained
- 1 pkg. frozen hash browns (24 oz.), thawed
- 1 can nacho cheese soup
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 chopped green pepper
- 1/4 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- Brown ground beef and 1/2 cup onion.
- Drain off fat.
- Stir in taco seasoning, water and tomato sauce.
- Bring to a boil and simmer 1 minute.
- Spread into greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Top mixture with green chillies, beans and potatoes.
