Marc'S Broccoli Casserole
- 1 large onion
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 c. rice
- 2 (10 oz. or 12 oz.) pkg. chopped broccoli
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 can Cheddar cheese soup
- 1 c. milk
- 1 (12 oz. or 16 oz.) pkg. Cheddar cheese
- In a large pan, melt margarine.
- Cut onion up coarsely.
- Add chopped broccoli and saute.
- Cook rice according to package directions.
- When onions are limp, add soups and mix thoroughly. Add cooked rice to mixture.
- Add milk and 1/2 of the package of cheese.
- Mix well.
- Turn into a deep 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and bake at 350u0b0 until cheese is well melted and starting to brown.
- Remove from oven and serve. Freezes well also, but leave off cheese on top.
- Enjoy.
- Serves 12.
