Cheesy Spaghetti Bake
- 1/2 lb. ground chuck
- 1/4 c. onion, chopped
- 1 2/3 c. spaghetti sauce
- 6 oz. spaghetti
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. evaporated milk (undiluted)
- 1/3 c. water
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- In a skillet, brown ground chuck and onion; drain fat.
- Add spaghetti sauce; simmer for 10 minutes. Break spaghetti into thirds and cook according to directions on box; rinse and drain.
- Mix cooked spaghetti with sauce.
- In a saucepan, melt butter; stir in flour and salt.
- Slowly add milk and water.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
- Add 1/2 cup shredded cheese, stirring until melted. Spread 1/2 spaghetti in bottom of 10 x 16 x 2 baking dish.
- Spoon all cheese sauce over spaghetti.
- Top with remaining spaghetti mixture and shredded cheese.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top. Bake at 350u0b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
