Ham And Broccoli Stir-Fry
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli spears, thawed
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 clove garlic, peeled and minced
- 1/2 c. thinly sliced celery
- 1 green pepper (thin strips)
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 large tomato, chopped
- 1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1 c. chopped, cooked ham
- 2 tsp. cornstarch in 2 Tbsp. water
- Cut off broccoli flowerets and set aside.
- Trim and cut stalks in thin strips.
- Heat oil with salt in wok.
- Add garlic, celery, green pepper, onion and broccoli stalks.
- Stir-fry about 1 minute.
- Add tomato, poultry seasoning and ham.
- Cover and simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Place broccoli flowerets on top of vegetables and ham.
- Cover and steam for 5 minutes. Uncover and stir in cornstarch mixture.
- Cook until thickened.
