Pizza
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 c. flour
- 1 jar favorite tomato sauce
- 3 c. grated Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- oregano
- pepperoni
- corn meal or Cream of Wheat
- In a large bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in 1/4 cup warm water.
- Add remaining water, oil and salt in big bowl.
- Gradually stir in flour one cup at a time until dough forms a ball and pulls away from sides of bowl.
- Turn out on a floured surface; knead 10 minutes.
- Return to oiled bowl; cover and let rise 1 hour.
- Punch down; divide in 2 parts.
- Roll out flat on floured surface. Sprinkle 2 cookie sheets with cornmeal.
- Spread out each dough on cookie sheet.
- Sprinkle each with equal amounts of sauce, cheese, oregano and favorite toppings.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350u0b0.
