Chocolate Melt-Away Torte

  1. Mix the graham crackers, 2 tablespoons butter and 2 tablespoons sugar; pat into a 9 x 9-inch pan.
  2. Keep part of crumbs to cover top.
  3. Cream 2 cups butter and the confectioners sugar. Continue creaming 4 eggs, one at a time.
  4. Add the melted, cooled bitter chocolate, salt and mint flavoring, if desired.
  5. Beat very good with electric beater on high speed, as beating increases volume.
  6. Pour into graham cracker crust.
  7. Place extra crumbs on top.
  8. Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.
  9. Very rich. Can also be frozen.
