Bran Bread

  1. Mix dry ingredients, set aside.
  2. In small bowl beat milk, oil and egg just to blend.
  3. If honey is used instead of sugar, add the honey to this wet mixture now.
  4. If you used brown sugar, put the sugar in with the other dry ingredients.
  5. Pour mixture over flour mixture, stir just until moistened.
  6. Turn into 8 x 4 x 2-inch loaf pan.
  7. Bake at 350u0b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in until it comes out clean.
  8. Cool in pan 10 minutes, then cool on rack.
  9. Serve sliced thin.
  10. Wrap and store airtight.
  11. Will keep 1 week wrapped, or in the freezer for up to 6 months.
