Creamy Banana Pudding(By Lounelle Shaw, Pendergrass, Ga)
- 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
- 2 c. cold water
- 1 (4 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
- 1 medium carton Cool Whip or 2 c. whipping cream, whipped
- 36 vanilla wafers
- 3 medium bananas, sliced and dipped in lemon juice
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. peanut butter and/or 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1 stick margarine
- 3 c. quick cooking oatmeal
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Combine sugar, cocoa, milk and margarine.
- Let come to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Boil one minute; remove from heat and add oatmeal, peanut butter and/or nuts and vanilla.
- Mix and drop by teaspoonfuls on waxed paper and allow to cool.
