Lasagne
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 lb. ground sausage
- 1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes
- 1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 small jar or can sliced mushrooms
- 2 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 2 tsp. oregano leaves
- 1 1/2 tsp. basil leaves
- 2 c. creamed cottage cheese
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 3 (4 oz.) pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 12 oz. lasagne noodles, cooked, well drained
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- Cook and
- stirteats until brown.
- Drain off fat.
- Add tomatoes, break
- up with a fork.
- Stir in tomato paste, garlic salt, oregano, basil and mushrooms.
- Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce
- heat
- and
- simmer
- 20 minutes.
- Preheat oven to
- 350u0b0.
- Stir
- together
- cottage
- cheese,
- 1/2
- cuptf Parmesan.
- Set aside
- 1
- 1/2 cups of meat sauce and 1/2 cup of the Mozzarella cheese.tn
- antngreased baking pan, 13 x 9 x 2-inch, alternatetayerstf
- noodles, meat sauce, remaining Mozzarella cheese and cottage cheese mixture.tpread reserved meat sauce over top.
- Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle
- reserved cheese over lasagne.
- Bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes.
