Italian Pasta Sauce #2

  1. If adding meat, brown first, and then add onion, carrots, celery, (peas and/or mushrooms, if desired) and garlic in oil until soft, but not brown (about 10 minutes). Add tomatoes and basil, dry or fresh, and simmer for about 45 minutes. Serve over cooked pasta. Approximately 4 servings.
