World'S Best Cookie

  1. Preheat oven to 325u0b0.
  2. Cream the butter and sugars until fluffy.
  3. Add egg; mix well.
  4. Add salad oil and vanilla, mixing well.
  5. Add oats, cornflakes, coconut and nuts, stirring well.
  6. Add flour, soda and salt; mix well.
  7. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  8. Flatten with a fork dipped in water. Bake 12 minutes.
  9. Cool on cookie sheet for a few minutes before removing.
  10. They stay moist and keep beautifully.
  11. Yields 5 to 6 dozen.
