Peaches 'N Cream Dessert

  1. Make crust of butter and graham cracker crumbs.
  2. Reserve 1/2 cup for topping.
  3. Put in a 9 x 9 x 3-inch pan.
  4. Put scant 1/2 cup of sugar in peaches; set aside.
  5. Mix 3/4 cup sugar, salt, cornstarch and water; cook until clear and thick.
  6. Add gelatin and dissolve.
  7. Allow to cool, then add peaches.
  8. Beat cream cheese with 1/2 cup sugar.
  9. Gradually add milk; continue to beat.
  10. Fold in topping.
  11. Put 1/2 cream cheese mixture over crust.
  12. Add peaches.
  13. Top with remaining cream cheese mixture.
  14. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs.
