Cream Puffs
- 1 Cup Water
- 1/2 Cup Butter
- 1 Cup Flour
- 4 Eggs
- Quick Filling:
- 1 pkg. Instant pudding (4oz)
- 1 Cup Milk
- 2 C. Whipping Cream
- Heat oven to 400. Heat water and butter to rolling boil. Stir in flour. Stir vigorously over low heat about 1 minute or until mixture forms a ball. Remove from heat, beat in eggs, all at one time, beating until smooth. Drop dough onto un-greased cookie sheets. Bake 35-40 minutes. Cool, away from draft. Fill with your choice of fillings:
- Quick Filling:
- Mix 1 package pudding and milk on low speed. Add whipping cream, beat about 2 minutes or until soft peaks form. Beat on medium speed of mixer.
- Can also fill with ice cream, pie filling, chicken salad or cool whip. Cream puffs can be topped with a light dusting of powdered sugar.
