Grilled Steak Sandwiches With Magic Mushrooms

  1. At home, make a spice mix by combining the seasoned salt, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper and some fresh cracked pepper. After butterflying the pieces of steak, apply spice mixture to both sides, and place steak pieces in a large plastic bag in cooler for transport to Stadium.
  2. Also at home, slice the onions and mushrooms and place in a large bowl with the olive oil and a fair amount of fresh cracked black pepper. Cover the bowl and add to the cooler.
  3. At the Stadium, grill the onions and mushrooms in a grill basket until golden (about 10 minutes). Remove to the same bowl in which they were transported, add the butter, sherry, more cracked black pepper and re-cover the bowl to keep warm while the steaks grill.
  4. Remove the grill basket and grill the steaks, turning once, to desired doneness.
  5. Serve the sandwiches on the rolls, with the mushroom onion mixture on the top. Optional - add crumbled blue cheese.
