Loaded Biscuits - Sitstayplay
- For Biscuits:
- 3 TBS. cold butter
- 2 C. biscuit mix
- 2/3 C. milk
- 1 C. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- For Tops:
- 1/4 C. butter, melted
- 1/2tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. Old Bay seasoning
- 1/4 tsp. dried parsley
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Mix together all of the ingredients for the biscuits. You can either divide the dough evenly into a lightly-oiled 12-tin muffin pan or drop by spoonfuls onto a lightly-oiled cookie sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
- While the biscuits bake, melt the 1/4 cup of butter and add the rest of the dry ingredients.
- When tops are a spotted golden brown, remove the biscuits from the oven. Stir the butter mix rapidly and spoon about 1 tsp. on top of each biscuit. Make sure you stir the butter before topping each one so you get a good mix of the butter and seasonings on each.
- Let the biscuits sit for a minute or so, to allow the butter on the bottom to get soaked up. YUM!
