Easy Fruitcake

  1. Grease 2 (9 x 5 x 3-inch) loaf pans.
  2. Combine raisins, peaches, shortening, sugar and orange juice in a saucepan and heat just to boiling.
  3. Remove from heat; pour into large bowl.
  4. Cool.
  5. Add candies, fruits and nuts to cooled mixture.
  6. Stir in beaten eggs. Sift flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves together.
  7. Beat into fruit-nut mixture.
  8. Spoon batter into prepared pans.
  9. Bake at 300u0b0 for 2 hours or until cakes test done.
  10. Decorate to your liking.
  11. Makes 2 cakes.
