German Sweet Chocolate Cream Cheese Brownies
- 1 pkg (4oz) sweet chocolate
- 1/4 cup margarine
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- Topping:
- 4 oz. cream cheese
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1. Microwave chocolate and margarine in a large microwaveable dish at high 2 minutes or until completely melted.
- 2. Stir sugar into melted chocolate, then add eggs and vanilla until completely mixed. Now add flour and mix until blended.
- 3. Spread in greased 8 inch square pan.
- 4. Prepare cream cheese topping in a small bowl then spoon over brownie mixture.
- 5. Swirl with a knife to marboleize.
- 6. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes or until wooden pick comes out clean when poked in the center.
- 7. Cool in pan and then cut into squares.
