Sweet And Sour Pork
- 10 oz. pork tenderloin
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 Tbsp. ginger
- 1/2 Tbsp. cooking wine
- 1 green pepper
- 2 slices pineapple
- 1 small onion
- 1 small carrot
- 1 clove garlic
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 1 Tbsp. ketchup
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of monosodium glutamate
- 3/4 c. soup stock
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 3 Tbsp. vinegar
- Cut pork into bite-sized cubes.
- Marinate pork in soy sauce, wine and ginger for 15 minutes.
- Coat pork with cornstarch.
- Fry until crisp.
- Drain.
- Cut onion, green pepper and carrot into sections.
- Heat oil.
- Add garlic, onion and green pepper; fry quickly.
- Add seasoning and soup.
- Bring to boil.
- Thicken with cornstarch mixed with water and ketchup.
- Add vinegar.
- Add fried pork; mix well.
- Serve hot on rice.
