Jana'S Flank Steak With Mint Cilantro Mojo And Veggies
- flank steak
- marinade:
- 1/4 cup soy
- 1 Tbs honey
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 Tbs cream mint ginger
- 2 tsp minced garlic (or 2 cloves)
- sauce:
- 1/4 cup chopped scallions
- 1 peeled garlic clove
- 1 Tbs lime juice
- 1/3 cup cilantro
- 1/3 cup mint leaves
- 3 Tbs water
- 1 Tbs extra-virgin olive oil
- creole seasoning
- slice in 1/2 lengthwise large peeled carrots and parsnips
- marinate flank steak as long as desired with combined listed ingredients for marinade
- grill 3-5 min per side for med/med-rare
- allow to rest a few min
- cut at angles
- sauce:
- food process listed ingredients to the consistency for pesto spread, add olive oil as needed
- for veggies brush flat side with olive oil and sprinkle with creole seasoning
- char flat sides and chop in 1/2
