All-Natural Instant Oatmeal
- 6 cups instant oats
- 1 1/2 tsp. sea salt
- 2T brown sugar
- 1T wheat germ (optional)
- 2 tsp flaxseed (optional)
- Ingredients for Apple-Date Oatmeal:
- 2T cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cups dried apples, coarsely chopped
- 1 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped
- 1 cup dates, coarsely chopped
- Ingredients for Lovely Blueberry Oatmeal
- 2T cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cups dried blueberries
- 1 cup pumpkin seeds, coarsely chopped
- Ingredients for Almond Peach Lavender Oatmeal:
- 2T vanilla powder
- 1T finely chopped lavender leaves
- 2 cups dried peaches
- 1 cup almonds, coarsely chopped
- Measure 5 cups instant oats into a bowl. Set aside.
- Combine 1 cup oats, sea salt, wheat germ, brown sugar and flaxseed in food processor. Pulsate until it forms a powdery mixture.
- Stir the powdery mixture into the bowl of oats.
- Choose the flavoring option above. Stir in the spices, then, stir in the larger ingredients.
- Store in serving-size Ziploc bags. Makes 15 1/3 cup servings.
- Prepare as you would any instant oatmeal!
