Drunken Noodles
- 1/4 TEASPOON GROUND CAYENNE
- 1 TEASPOON GROUND TURMERIC
- 2 TEASPOONS TOASTED SESAME OIL
- 1 TABLESPOON AGAVE NECTAR
- 4 LARGE GARLIC CLOVES, CRUSHED
- 2 TABLESPOONS FRESHLY GRATED GINGER
- 1/4 CUP LIME JUICE
- 1/4 CUP TAMARI
- 1/2 CUP GREEN ONIONS, CHOPPED
- 1 CUP (PACKED) FRESH CILANTRO, CHOPPED
- 8 OZ WHOLE GRAIN RICE NOODLES
- 1. ring a large pot of water to a boil. While waiting for the water to boil, rinse and dry cilantro and green onion. Peel and dice the ginger; chop the green onion, cilantro and garlic. When the water boils, cook the noodles for 6 minutes. While the noodles are cooking, place the remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Stir well and set aside.
- 2. Once the noodles are done cooking, drain them and toss them into the bowl of sauce. Stir them gently yet thoroughly.
- 3. Top with any remaining cilantro as garnish. Serve and enjoy! Now wasn't that easy!?
