Apple Nut Cake

  1. 1) Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla and beat well.
  2. 2) Sift flour, baking soda and baking powder and add to creamed mixture, alternating with sour cream. Mix well. Fold in apples. Pour into a greased tube pan or 13" x 9" x 2" pan. Sprinkle with topping.
  3. If using a 13" x 9" pan, bake for 35 minutes. If using a tube pan, bake for 1 hour or until tester comes out clean.
