Apple Nut Cake

- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 cups finely chopped apples
- Topping
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp. soft butter
- 1) Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla and beat well.
- 2) Sift flour, baking soda and baking powder and add to creamed mixture, alternating with sour cream. Mix well. Fold in apples. Pour into a greased tube pan or 13" x 9" x 2" pan. Sprinkle with topping.
- If using a 13" x 9" pan, bake for 35 minutes. If using a tube pan, bake for 1 hour or until tester comes out clean.
