Frangelico Biscotti

  1. Preheat the oven to 325u0b0
  2. Cream the butter until light. Add the sugar and beat together until fluffy. Add the eggs and mix well. Mix in the vanilla paste and Frangelico. Add the flour, baking powder, salt and nuts and mix well. The dough should pull away from the sides of the bowl. if not add another tablespoon or so of flour until it does.
  3. Flour a board and roll out logs 2 inches wide and 12" long. Place on parchment lined baking sheets about 2-2 1/2 inches apart. Brush with egg wash and bake until lightly browned 25-30 minutes. Remove from the
  4. oven and let cool for 15 minutes.
  5. Then carefully remove from the baking tray and slice about 1/2" wide diagonally. return to the bakng sheet, one cut surface down. bake another 15 minutes or until they begin to feel dry to the touch.
  6. Store well sealed and they'll last a long time.
