Beef And Onion Stir Fry
- 1 1/2 bunches green onion
- 3 T cornstarch (divided)
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 T rice wine vinegar
- 1 lb round steak
- 2 T lite soy sauce
- 2 T oil
- 1 C beef broth
- 3 T crushed red peppers
- peanuts, optional
- Cut onions into 2" pieces. Place in a large bowl. Cut steak across grain into thin slices and add to onions. Sprinkle 2 T cornstarch and soy sauce on top. Toss to coat. Saute beef, onions and peppers in 2 batches in hot veg. and sesame oil for 3 min. until beef is done and onions are tender crisp.
- Whisk broth, pepper flakes and 1 T cornstarch and vinegar together. Add to beef and bring to boil. Cook 1 min until thickened. Top with peanuts. (can use chicken and shrimp)
