Green Bean With Slivered Almonds

  1. If frozen cook green beans according to pkg. directions. Fresh beans, cut into 1" pieces and place beans in a sauce pan and cover with water; bring to a boil. Cook uncovered for 8-10 min. or until crisp tender; drain and set aside. In a large fry pan, saute mushroom in 1 T. butter. Set aside. In same skillet, saute onions and nuts. Add mushrooms and keep warm. Combine butter and spices; drizzle over bean mixture and toss to coat. Place beans in skillet. Sprinkle with onions, mushrooms and almonds.
