Chivada - Indian Snack

  1. Heat the oil in a 6 qt pot. Add mustard seeds. When mustard seeds start to pop, add turmeric, garlic powder and asafoieteda. Add the coconut now and be careful not to over brown it.
  2. Add peanuts, cashews, raisins and rest of spices - stir well.
  3. When everything is coated, add the cereal and toss until spices are uniformly distributed.
