Lasagna
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound Italian sausage
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 can, large crushed tomatoes
- 1 can, 8 oz tomato sauce
- 1 package spaghetti sauce seasoning mix
- 8 ounces Mozzarella cheese -- sliced or shredded
- 8 ounces ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 8 ounces lasagna noodles
- Brown meat, drain. Add seasoning and simmer 10 minutes.
- Add tomatoes and seasoning mix. Stir thoroughly. Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
- Boil lasagna in accordance with package directions in salted water. Drain and rinse well.
- Spray 9x13-inch casserole with PAM. Layer noodles, meat sauce, mozzarella and ricotta cheeses. Repeat. Top with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 350*F for 20 - 30 minutes or until bubbly. Cool slightly before cutting.
