Brie And Walnut Filled Phyllo
- 8 oz. Brie
- 1 tsp. dried rosemary, crumbled
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3 Tbsp. coarsely chopped walnuts
- 15 phyllo sheets
- 1 c. melted butter
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 1/2 lb. ground pork
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. savory
- 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground thyme
- 1/4 tsp. ground sage
- 1 bay leaf
- salt and pepper to taste
- Cook onion and garlic in butter.
- Add pork and saute, stirring and breaking meat into small pieces.
- Add water and seasonings and cook for 30 minutes.
- If mixture looks watery, add a little cornstarch.
- Chill.
