Moist & Savory Stuffing
- 2 1/2 cups Swanson(R) Chicken Broth or Swanson(R) Certified Organic Chicken Broth
- 12 tablespoons Butter, divided
- 1 dash ground black pepper
- 2 stalks celery, coarsely chopped (about 1 cup)
- 1 large onion, coarsely chopped (about 1 cup)
- 1 package (14 ounces) Pepperidge Farm(R) Herb Seasoned Stuffing
- 1.treheat oven to 350.
- 2.tutter a 9 x 9 pan.
- 3.tlace the Pepperidge Farm Unseasoned Cubed Stuffing in a large bowl. Set Aside
- 4.tn a large skillet over medium heat melt 4 tablespoons butter, add celery and onion, cook for 10 minutes or until softened.
- 5.tour the herb mixture over the cubed stuffing; mix to incorporate.
- 6.teasure the chicken stock into a 4 cup measuring cup or bowl then pour over the stuffing. Combine lightly.
- 7.tlace stuffing in prepared pan.
- 8.telt the remaining 8 tablespoons butter; pour evenly over stuffing.
- 9.take uncovered for 35-40 minutes.
