Wendy Kennedy'S World Famous Stir Fry
- 1 large round steak cut into thin strips
- 3 tbsp soya sauce
- 3 tbsp corn starch
- 1 tsp of ginger
- 1 tsp of sugar
- 1-2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 tsp crushed red chilis
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 5 tbsp butter
- 2 c thinly sliced carrots
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 green pepper, cut into strips
- In med size bowl, comb 2 tbsp soya sauce, 1 tbsp orn starch, ginger, sugar & garlic. Add meat, toss to coat. Set aside.
- In med size bowl, blend crushed chilis w/remaining corn starch and soya sauce. Stir in water. Set aside.
- In large stir fry pan, melt 3 tbsp butter on med-high heat. Add meat & stir fry for 2 mins or until brown. Remove from pan. Melt 2 tbsp butter & add veggies. Stir fry 3-5 mins. Stir in meat & add soya sauce mixture. Cook & stir over med heat until boils and thickens. Serve with rice.
