Chicken Crescents
- 4 oz. pkg. cream cheese and chives
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 c. chicken, cubed
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1 Tbsp. chopped chives or onions
- 1 Tbsp. chopped pimiento
- 8 crescent rolls
- croutons
- melted margarine
- Blend 4 ounces cream cheese and 2 tablespoons melted margarine until smooth.
- Add chicken, salt, pepper, milk, chives or onions and pimiento.
- Saute onion in butter prior to putting it into the mixture.
- Separate crescent rolls into four rectangles.
- Seal perforations with finger.
- Spoon 1/2 cup chicken mixture onto center of each rectangle.
- Pull 4 corners of dough to center and seal edges.
- Brush tops with melted margarine.
- Dip in 3/4 cup crushed croutons.
- Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 20 to 25 minutes at 350u0b0.
- Makes 4 squares.
