Chicken Crescents

  1. Blend 4 ounces cream cheese and 2 tablespoons melted margarine until smooth.
  2. Add chicken, salt, pepper, milk, chives or onions and pimiento.
  3. Saute onion in butter prior to putting it into the mixture.
  4. Separate crescent rolls into four rectangles.
  5. Seal perforations with finger.
  6. Spoon 1/2 cup chicken mixture onto center of each rectangle.
  7. Pull 4 corners of dough to center and seal edges.
  8. Brush tops with melted margarine.
  9. Dip in 3/4 cup crushed croutons.
  10. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 20 to 25 minutes at 350u0b0.
  11. Makes 4 squares.
