Healthy Maple, Almond, Cinnamon Granola
- 6 cups old fashioned WHOLE GRAIN rolled oats
- 2 1/2 cups sliced almonds
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Celtic sea salt
- 3/4 cup rice bran oil
- 3/4 cup "B" grade pure maple syrup
- Combine dry ingredients in large mixing bowl. Combine rice bran oil and "B" grade maple syrup in a separate bowl and mix well. Pour the bowl of liquids over the dry ingredients and mix well. Spread the mixture over two large NON-TEFLON baking sheets. (If yor baking sheets are teflon-coated, please reduce cooking time to prevent burning) Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes, then rotate the position of the two baking sheets and bake an additional 20 minutes. Let cool completely. Store in air-tight container to prevent free-radical formation!
