Bruno'S Cake
- 8" X 2" pan
- 5 1/8 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon bread crumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 tablespoon confectioner's sugar or 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1.treheat oven to 350 F
- 2.telt the butter
- 3.trush cake pan with some melted butter
- 4.tour bread crumbs in cake pan. Shake it carefully so that the crumbs stick to the sides of the pan
- 5.teat eggs and sugar in large bowl until the mixture is fluffy
- 6.tombine flour, baking soda, and confectioners' sugar or vanilla in a small bowl. Stir well with no lumps.
- 7.tlend milk, remaining butter, and combine flour, baking soda, and confectioners' sugar with the egg and sugar mixture in the large bowl. Mix until smooth
- 8.tour batter into a cake pan. Bake for 35 minutes. Stick a toothpick in center of cake. If it comes out clean, the cake is done.
- 9.tet the cake sit for 1 hour.
- 10.tlease cake facedown on plate. Sprinkle cake with confectioners' sugar.
