Bacon-Wrapped Stuffed Jalapenos
- 12 Jalapenos
- 1 lb of breakfast sausage
- 1 package of cream cheese
- 1 can of seasoned diced tomatoes
- 24 strips of bacon (about 2 lbs)
- 24 tooth picks
- For the Filling:
- 1. Brown the breakfast sausage.
- 2. Add in the package of cream cheese and the can of Diced Tomatoes.
- 3. Mix them together until the cream cheeses is melted and you have a cheesy sausage dip instead of three separate ingredients in the same bowl.
- For the poppers:
- 1. Cut the jalapenos in half and take the seeds out.
- 2. Add a spoonful of cream cheese dip to to each jalapeno half.
- 3. Wrap them in bacon and skewer them with a toothpick!
- 4. Put them on a wire rack over a baking dish to catch the dripping bacon grease, and put them under the broiler for about 6 minutes, then flipped them and put them in for 6 more minutes.
