Low Country Boil
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 sausage links, sliced
- 1/2 turkey breast, diced
- 4 snowcrab clusters
- 1 vidalia onion, diced
- 8 redskin potatoes, quartered
- 4 ears corn, dehusked and halved
- crab boil oil
- 2 pale ale beers
- newspapers
- Bring water to a boil in a large pot. Add crab boil oil to taste (be careful, this stuff gets spicy!). Add the onions and the beers (I prefer pale ale, but use your favorite). Add the potatoes and boil for 10 minutes. Add the corn and boil for 5 minutes. Add the sausage and turkey, boil for 5 minutes. Add the shrimp and crab legs, boil until cooked (about 3-4 minutes, avoid over cooking). Layer newspapers on a picnic table and pour your low country boil directly on top. This is the ultimate campfire meal, enjoy!
