Chili
- t 1/2 lbs. ground beef
- t lb. Hot Sausage ( Jimmy Dean)
- t cans (29 oz.) tomato puree
- t can (29 oz.) tomato sauce
- t can (16 oz.) kidney beans
- t can (16 oz.) hot & spicy chili beans
- t c. chopped onion
- t/2 c. finely chopped peppers
- t T. parsley
- t T. oregano
- t T. chili powder
- t T. minced garlic
- t T. celery minced or flakes
- t Pkgs. chili seasoning (your preference, may use 1 hot, 1 regular)
- t-29oz water
- Cook and brown ground beef and sausage.
- Mix tomato puree and tomato sauce in a large roaster.
- Add onions, peppers, parsley, oregano, chili powder, garlic, celery and chili seasoning.
- Add ground steak, sausage, kidney beans and chili beans.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake covered at 350 degrees for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
