Brent'S Polish Sausage And Sauerkraut
- 1 Package Kielbasa Sausage
- 1 Jar Sauerkraut
- 1 Stick Margarine
- 2 Cups Brown Sugar
- 2 Small Granny Smith Apples
- 1/2 White Onion
- 4 Medium Potatoes
- - Peel potatoes.
- - Boil potatoes in large pot for 15 minutes or until tender.
- - Drain potatoes and leave in pot.
- - Cut slices of apples and onion.
- - Melt half a stick of margarine in a pan.
- - Place sauerkraut, apples, and onions in buttered pan.
- - Add brown sugar on top.
- - Mix everything and sautee until sauerkraut is browned and onions clear.
- - When about halfway done, melt the other half of the margarine stick into the sauerkraut mix.
- - Cut kielbasa sausages into small slices.
- - Brown kielbasa slices while sauerkraut mix is sauteeing.
- - Once sauerkraut mix and kielbasa slices are done, mix them all in the pot with the potatoes.
- - Continue cooking entire mix on medium for about 5-10 minutes and mix everything together.
