Almond-Fudge Brownies With Chocolate Glaze

  1. PREP
  2. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
  3. Grease a 9X9X2 baking pan - set aside.
  4. MAKE BROWNIES
  5. In a medium saucepan melt butter and chocolate over low heat - turn off burner.
  6. Whisk in sugar, eggs and vanilla by hand until just combined.
  7. Whisk in flour.
  8. Spread batter into prepared pan.
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
  10. Cool in pan on a wire rack.
  11. MAKE CHOCOLATE GLAZE
  12. In a saucepan cook and stir butter, cocoa powder and milk until mixture comes to a boil.
  13. Remove from heat.
  14. Stir in 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth.
  15. Pour over cooled brownies.
