Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars
- For this recipe you will need:
- For top layer
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- For bottom layer
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1 tsp water
- You will need a pan about the size of 8x12 the rectangular size. I usually use a glass brownie pan.
- 1. Grease the bottom of the pan with butter
- 2. Combine oatmeal, peanut butter, margarine, and water together. Stir until everything is pretty well mixed.
- 3. Put mixed ingredients from step 2 into pan. Press firmly into pan.
- 4. For top layer melt chocolate chips and peanut butter into saucepan and pour over bottom layer.
- 5. Freeze in the freezer for at least an hour.
- 6. Cut and serve!
- If you like the peanut butter flavor more add more peanut butter for the top layer.
- This takes about 15-20 min to make.
