Three Cheese Mac With Wild Mushrooms
- 1/4 cup of chopped Shitake
- 1/4 cup of chopped Oyster
- 1/4 cup of chopped Chantrelle
- 3 cups of cheese
- Gorgonzola, Black Diamond, Tilamook Sharp Chedder (want to try Gruyere)
- 1 mild pepper
- 1/4 cup of white wine
- 1 stick of butter
- Salt/Pepper
- 16 oz of favorite pasta for mac/cheese
- Step 1: Saute over medium heat with 1/4 to 1/2 stick of butter all mushrooms, pepper, white wine. Saute until mushrooms are done for desired taste.
- (the more butter used, the richer the mushrooms)
- Step 2: Melt 1/2 butter in sauce pan on medium heat, throw in cheese, stir until melted. Cook pasta.
- Step 3: In bake pan mix pasta with cheese, salt/pepper for desired taste. On top layer the mushroom mix, on top of the this optional is a layer of gorgonzola. (Baking is optional) Preheat oven to 425 degrees
- Step 4: Bake for 10-15, until cheese is melted on top.
